Aysha Tamturk’s art can be described as an experimental journey through using different medias like photography, digital art, and mixed media. Originally from Istanbul ,she immigrated to Canada at a later age which prepared her to express herself through art. She worked in Nilufar Moayeri’s, Persian / Turkish Contemporary artist and had classes at Emily Carr University. Her artworks are digital and mixed media pieces where she questions immigration, social issues, and existential crisis of women
