She was born at the crossroads of East and West, in Romania, in an environment with strict education, being encouraged to study the exact sciences, which she found satisfaction in. For the first part of her life, she was an educator, teaching physics to high school kids, after which she studied law, becoming a lawyer. As both professions are governed by formality and rigour, she felt the need for an adequate space to express emotions and ideas in an artistique way. For 7 years, since she felt an impulse to grab a camera and point it at the world, she found herself absorbed by a fascinating universe, which allowed her the freedom of expression and creativity in a visual form. Expressing herself through photography would not only bring a new found balance in her life but also challenged her towards deeper self-knowledge and learning. She was gazing outwards but, really, she was looking within. The photos she took were exhibited in some exhibitions, and in print and online magazines, such as: Liternet, Your Magazine Shot, Dodho Online Magazine, Photography Week Magazine, PetaPixel, Fine Eye Magazine, 100 ASA online photo gallery, PhotoVogue, 1x.com Art Gallery. Her pictures reflect her journey, the fragil balance between the blinding light and the abisal dark. She finds herself between light and shadow, this being the reason she likes to use intense elements in her images and she aspires to create a balance between them, thus expressing what is essential in her journey.
