Hadi
Malijani
Hadi Malijani, born in 1989 in Shiraz, near the Zagros mountain range in Iran, is a self-taught photographer who began his journey in photography at the age of 18. Working in "one of the most stressful regions in the world" Hadi has faced numerous challenges and limitations, but these experiences have profoundly shaped his art and perspective.
Photography is Hadi's primary profession, yet he embraces the mindset of a lifelong learner. In addition to conceptual photography and creative editing, he also specializes in wedding photography. Through his art, Hadi has connected with people from around the world, gaining invaluable insights and inspiration from these encounters.
A lover of Persian poetry, Hadi finds solace and inspiration in the works of Khayyam and Rumi. His artistic roots are tied to his heritage; his mother and grandmother were carpet weavers, and the intricate designs of their traditional crafts left a lasting impression on him. As a child, Hadi was mesmerized by the animals, plants, and geometric patterns woven into the carpets, often imagining the designs coming to life. This deep connection to beauty, simplicity, and storytelling continues to influence his creative vision today.
Hadi dreams of a world filled with love, peace, and freedom—a sentiment that resonates deeply through his work.
