Steve Day is a is self-taught photographer artist born and living in Melbourne, Australia.

His passion is photographing architecture and urban landscapes predominately in black and white. Driven by his long-time interest in architecture, he is inspired to capture the shapes and forms, the light and shadows produced by these man-made environments. His minimalist images are typically devoid of humanity in contradiction to the bustle of the urban landscapes he captures.

His work been awarded in several international photography competitions including International Photography Awards, MonoVisions Photography Awards, ND Awards, Prix de la Photographie Paris, Visions International Photo Awards, and the Centre for Contemporary Photography Salon Melbourne. His work has been published in the B&W Minimalism Magazine, Chiiz Magazine, Long Exposure Magazine, and Eye Photo Magazine. Furthermore, his work has been exhibited in Melbourne, Hyderabad, New York, Athens, and Paris.
