Living and working in Namur, Belgium, Thomas Vanoost is a Belgian photographer born in 1982. He achieved a photography degree in 2002 while also studying philosophy, sociology and finance. He decided to devote himself to photography in 2015 after pursuing a career in the investment industry.
Influenced by his background as a philosopher, his work questions the relationship between human beings and the contemporary world.
He made his debut on the international art market in 2016 with his 'Instability' and 'Visions of Everyday Chaos' series, which have been exhibited in several European countries.
His photographic work is represented by the Bell Gallery, based around Amsterdam and distributed to several galleries in the Netherlands, Belgium and several countries.
